I know you are looking for a studio or 1 bedroom.  But I thought I might be able to offer you a good option.  I have a room for rent in a house in Tillson, about ten minutes from SUNY New Paltz.  The room is big and bright, 600/mo and the house is currently shared by two other serious grad students in the speech pathology dept and me, a working professional.  We are very quiet and respectful of each other and are specifically looking for other grad students.  Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to see the house. dabers33@gmail.com
