I am a thirty-year-old gay male professor with a sweet, docile dog looking to rent a room or an apartment to be used about 4 days a week and probably never on weekends.

I will be joining the SUNY New Paltz faculty as a Visiting Professor in the English department for all of next year. I live in Manhattan, and I'm planning on commuting to campus for my classes a few days a week. I'd like to find a place to rest my head in New Paltz a few nights a week—probably Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights—so that I don't have to drive back and forth from Manhattan too many times a week.

My sweet, well-behaved, calm four-year-old dog named Romy will be with me often. She's a mutt, mainly a mix of beagle and lab.

If you think your room or apartment might work for my situation, please write me here. In short, I wouldn't be using the place much, around 8-12 nights a month.

I'd like to spend around $600 per month, but very open to negotiating.
