Hi there!  :)

I am a recent graduate of SUNY New Paltz, and am starting in a full time job nearby in the coming weeks. For the past 2 years I have lived in groups and shared apartments, but I don't think the "student housing" approach is going to work so great for me anymore with the change of lifestyle that is ahead.

Ideally, I'd like to live on my own in a 1 bedroom apartment. However, if there were other people (grad students or recent grads working in the area) with a similar lifestyle, I'd be open to a shared space. I have negotiated my salary to include $800/month for rent. I will be working full time, but am hoping to save money so spaces with included utilities are preferable.

I have my own car, so proximity to campus is not a priority. My main concern is finding somewhere clean that is in my budget. My target move-in date would be August 1st (I have another apt in New Paltz until the 31st of July).

If you have a space that meets some/most of these wish list items, feel free to send me a message at skeating@hawkmail.newpaltz.edu. :) Thank you for your time!

Hello! I have a room open in my apartment, it is a three bedroom with one other girl. It's about an 8 minute drive to campus, and a little more than 600 a month including utilities. Our lease is re-signed August 1st. It is a renovated barn house with beautiful stained glass windows. It's a very quiet apartment building, not your typical student housing situation.
