Hello guys and gals!!
My name is Lauren and I am trying to find someone to sublet my room for the Spring semester.

Fun facts about my home
-Queer friendly / Smoker friendly
-Rent is $640/month. That includes water, propane, in house washer/dryer, and on-site parking.
-Utilities that must be paid monthly/bimonthly are electric, garbage, and Internet.
-10 minute walk to campus, 15 minute walk to downtown New Paltz
-It is a six bedroom co-ed home. You'll be living with some of the best housemates I've ever had: Connor, Tim, Gail, Nava, and Seth
-There are two cats. They are both very friendly and cute
-Paul and Cynthia, the landlords, live in Albany but are attentive to their tenants' concerns and needs.
-There is a basement and an attic for you to store your excess things, a common space living room, and a large fully equipped kitchen.
-Pictures or tours available upon request

greetings! it turns out that our cozy home at 50 North Manhiem needs 2 new residents for the spring semester (sublet from Jan 1 - June 1). Of the four remaining there are 3 females and 1 male (all seniors) but we have no preference of what pronoun you go by or your year at NP. queer friendly home, of course. a couple of cats will be here to stay, but that's as many pets as we'd like to have for now. we like to 'party' on occasion but for the most part our house is pretty quiet.  8)
so to get down to the 'serious' stuff:
the house was previously a family home, and we still treat it that way. it's fully furnished (except your future bedroom) and heat, water, washer/dryer (in basement) ARE INCLUDED. driveway parking if you have a car! and safe places to stash your bike, too.
the utilities you'd have to pitch in for are electric (which varies), internet (about $9), and garbage ($6).
rent is $620/mo, which may sound like a lot, but with heat/water/washer&dryer included, it's a very fair price for such a nice house so close to campus (.7 miles).
ALSO if you end up really liking living here (which we all certainly do!), you will be welcome to sign the next year's lease if you'd like. the offer's there! our two friends who are moving out after this semester are doing so due to personal/financial/academic reasons.
ALSO we have close ties with our land lord who is really nice and is only a phone call away. she lives near Albany, but always responds appropriately to any concerns we ever have/helps us immediately in any way she can.
if interested, please contact any of these cool cats:

relaxed vibe here at 50 North Manheim, about .7 miles away from Newpz campus (15 minute walk, tops). plenty of room to park if you've got a car. 2 cats that are here to stay (but we're not interested in any new pet additions). the house is shared between five upperclassman, we're losing the sixth to grad school. it's a very nice house, two full baths, huge kitchen and living room; previously a family home. the house is fully furnished and applicanced (if that's a word), so you'd only need a bed and such for your room. the back deck is pretty sweet, we have both a front and backyard, and a gas grill. washer/dryer access in the basement.

we all get along really well, and we're hoping to find a new housemate who is easy to get along with and who is down to hang out.

to get to the important stuff;
rent is $620/month, but that also includes heat and water. our utilities consist of electric (it varies), garbage ($6/mo) and internet ($9/mo). the lease is one year beginning June 1st, 2012. to claim your room for the year, our landlord would need first months rent ($620) plus a deposit of $600, so that's $1220 to seal the deal.

spring '12 was my first semester (I transferred), I personally love living here, and will be for the next year. I've met a lot of great people and had many a good time in this house. more to come for sure.
please email me (Paige) or give me a call at 315-466-6260 for any further inquiry.
