One of my housemates has decided to break lease, so we need someone to fill the room that will be vacant.
The rent is $710/month, including utilities.
SUNY New Paltz is within walking distance (8-10 minute's walk to the fine arts building part of campus, for reference).
My landlord's phone number is 917-604-7332, if you want to set up a time to see the room (he'll know best on when that's possible).

I'm renting a room in the house linked above, and it's a nice place. It's close to campus (literally a 10 minute walk), the landlord is nice, and there's 1 $610 room available still as far as I know.

You might want to check out the above posting. It's really nice, and close to campus.

I'm not sure if the entire house will be completely sober, but I am :)
Here's the link to a post on this board: https://www2.newpaltz.edu/housingbb/index.php?topic=50247.0

I went and looked at the place, and it's in excellent proximity to the campus (10 minute walk or 2 minute drive). The landlord is really nice and very safety-conscious. I thought I'd tell you to check it out because personally, I've never been a drinker/partier and it'd be great to live with someone who agrees with that.

Bumping this thread -- still looking.

Note: I will not share a one bedroom, or use a living area as a bedroom.

Hi! What does the rent cost?

I'm going to be a graduate student in the fall, and I am looking for a 1 bedroom, studio, or even a house share with less than 3 people for the Fall 2015 semester (but hopefully June or July move-in).

I am trying to keep in the 500-600/month range, so please do not contact me if your place is above 600/month. If it's below 500, feel free to reply. Of course, cleanliness is a must, as is proximity to campus. The farthest I am willing to go from town is an 8-10 minute drive. I am looking for a quiet place, with no smoking (so that is a no to 420 places), and I am not willing to live in a place where there is excessive drinking/partying.
