If you haven't yet made your living arrangements for 2015-16, don't worry. You still have a chance to live in this beautiful setting. A couple of years ago we renovated and furnished a lovely 5-bedroom Victorian house right in the Village of New Paltz, just a block or so from the campus. This house is like a private home, with recessed lighting, skylights, and large windows to bring in a lot of natural light. We put in a brand-new washer and dryer and built a 4-season sunporch in the back of the house, furnished it with rattan furniture to give it that outdoor feeling, and added a large flat-screen TV and a treadmill. There are 3 ceiling fans to circulate the air and new central AC for really hot days. There are 2 large, modern bathrooms, 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large dining area with skylights and recessed lighting. There are large covered porches in the front and back of the house, plus a large backyard. This year we also added new double-pane windows to make the house warm and cozy in the winter. Common areas are shared by all 5 tenants. This is a house you can call home. No smoking and no pets of any kind. The rent is $625, plus shared utilities. Please call (845) 255-6895 or (845) 633-9616 for more information or a tour of the house.
